TicWatch Pro 3 is getting a Wear OS H-MR2 to upgrade with Snapdragon Wear 4100 upgrades

 The TicWatch Pro 3 is the most recent Wear OS watch available, thanks to its Snapdragon Wear 4100 processor, and it is now receiving the H-MR2 upgrade, which includes a slew of new features and optimizations.

TicWatch made the following "OTA announcement" on its Facebook Group yesterday (via Reddit, Droid-Life):

Dear #TicWatchPro3GPS users, you will be receiving an update focused on the H-MR2 framework beginning today.

New features include:

  1. The long-press power button to activate Google Assistant can be disabled.
  2. New brightness layout for the projector.
  3. Weather is a new tile.
  4. A new theater mode has been included.
  5. Ensure that the critical mode is entered and exited on a regular basis.


  1. The media volume and the ringtone volume bar indicator have been adjusted to accommodate the real volume.
  2. Mobvoi Launcher's app sorting has been improved.
  3. Mobvoi Launcher's slipping smoothness has been improved.
  4. Off-body identification accuracy has been improved.
  5. Output on Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 4100 platforms has been improved.
  6. The "OK Google" switch has been relocated from the watch's options menu to the Google assistant settings.
  7. The shutdown charging animation has been improved.
  8. The security patch has been updated to 2021-03-05.

Fixed a bug:

  • Fixed a problem where Auto-DND wouldn't always work.
  • The problem with the screen not locking after charging has been resolved.
  • When pairing with an Android handset, the Phone app in Mobvoi Launcher will often vanish.
  • Other glitches that were found were fixed.
  • TicWatch Pro 3 features a handful of updated H-MR2 components, as well as numerous UI optimizations, particularly to the Mobvoi Launcher, in addition to improved Snapdragon Wear 4100 performance.
