Due to "technical concerns," the Google Play Points promotion for Pixel 5, 4a, and 5G owners has been halted.

Google gave a slew of subscription benefits to Pixel 5 and 4a 5G customers at launch. One for Google Play Points is still valid before the end of the month, but due to technical difficulties, Google has “suspended” the promotion.

Any Google Play purchase gives you Play Points, which can be exchanged for store credit if you sign up. The software has several stages, each of which unlocks multipliers and weekly rewards. The Pixel 4a 5G comes with 150 Play Points, putting users in the Silver tier, while the Pixel 5 comes with 600 Play Points, putting them in the Gold tier.

This promotion was expected to last until April 30, but existing customers in the United States, Germany, France, the United Kingdom, Australia, and Taiwan are unable to reclaim their Play Points. Google has "suspended redemption of the Pixel x Play Points promotional bid" and is "actively working to resolve the matter," according to the company.

Unfortunately, due to technical difficulties, we have had to halt the redemption of this bid. We're trying to resolve the issue. Please contact the Play Support team if you have any concerns.

Three months of Stadia Pro, YouTube Premium, and 100GB of Google One/Drive storage were also included as bonuses.

Owners of the Pixel 5 and Pixel 4a 5G will reclaim Play Points by clicking their avatar in the latest Google Play and pressing the famous bar promoting the service after it has been restored.
