Google Nest Audio

Last year's Launch Night In Livestream included the Nest Audio, which was automatically discounted when purchased in a two-pack. Person orders at the Google Store now include a $20 discount.

The Nest Audio is now available at a $20 discount on the Google Store in the United States. The former bid, now reduced to $79.99, was $30 off but allowed the purchase of a pair for $179.98. For those who wish to make a stereo pair or buy an odd amount, this new offer supersedes the "Room-filling Audio Package."

The Nest Audio has a 75mm woofer and 19mm tweeter, making it 75 percent louder and with 50 percent more bass than the original Google Home. It has a quad-core A53 1.8 GHz processor and a "high-performance ML hardware engine," according to the company.

It has a 70 percent recycled plastic enclosure with four lights in the front and center. Volume and play/pause are controlled by three capacitive touch buttons, and the three far-field microphones are muted by a physical click on the rear.

The Google Store currently has all five colors (Chalk, Charcoal, Sage, Sand, and Sky) available. The Nest Audio discount began on February 14 and will stop at 11:59 p.m. PT on February 27, 2021.
